Hi, I`m 14 years old and i have a small lump on my armpit. I`m not quite sure what to do. Could it just be from shaving or could it possibly also have something to do with breast cancer? Please help me.

Julie, the armpit lump could be a skin irritation from shaving, or an enlarged lymph node if your body is fighting an infection like a cold.  The least likely thing that it would be is breast cancer.  Even in older women who are in the usual age range for breast cancer, armpit lumps are usually benign (not cancer).  Show this to a parent or other adult you trust to help you evaluate whether a doctor needs to check out the lump.  If it is getting larger or looks infected, a doctor's opinion on what to do may be needed.
