There is bluish lump on the left breast of my mother measuring 1cm. It is protruding outside the normal skin of the breast. The lump is at outer side of breast in downward side (under the breast).  She is 66. Can it be breast cancer how urgent it is to see the doctor, after one month is too late?

Ahmed, any change in a woman's breast should be seen by a doctor—especially a new lump. Please don't panic, though; my advice would be to call the doctor, describe your mother's situation, and ask for an appointment as soon as possible. I'm sure, if they feel what you describe is serious, they'll see her as soon as they can. Good luck to you both- PJH
