Just Diagnosed with Cancer? Chat with Experts

Q: I noticed a singular very small drop of fluid on my right nipple. this has never happened before. its color and consistency was like egg whites. should I worry about something so small and isolated?

both got slightly moist when I squeezed them right after that and there is none today. I have a harmless cyst in that breast and I'm on day 4 of my cycle. there is no pain associated with the discharge.

Hi - Nipple discharge like this is almost always hormonal. Very rarely is nipple discharge a sign of breast cancer; and then, seldom discharge such as you describe. Please read our post on nipple discharge for good information on whether/when to see a doctor about this, OK? Cheers - PJH
