I am 15 years old and i have a lump about the size of a half-dollar on one of my breasts.  Im worried that it could be a tumor or breast cancer.  It doesnt hurt at all, in fact it is completely numb where the lump is. The thing that worries me the most is that it is growing.  About 6months ago i found the lump(it was about the size of a peanut) and told my mom.  She said that it is normal to have lumps at my age so i ignored it. But now its HUGE! I am aware that it is HIGHLY unlikely for women under the age of 40 to get breast cancer, expecially at my age, but i am still worried.  If you know anything about my problem, please help...

See PJ's answer to this question posted yesterday.  I'll also throw in my recommendation to see a doctor.  If this lump gets larger and then smaller with your period, then it would probably be a cyst.  In fact, it probably is a cyst.  It almost certainly isn't breast cancer, so try not to worry.  However, a lump that has been growing for six months needs to be checked out by a doctor for any person at any age no matter where it is.
