Q: hi,i am just 22 years old.in my breast lump is present which is painless and hard and now i am taking medicine but i see that no effect of that medicine.i want to ask is this breast cancer?

Hi Neha - If possible, I recommend a mammogram. While you're extremely young to be worrying about breast cancer – and this is almost probably NOT what this breast lump is – you do need to find out exactly what it is. And medicine isn't likely to affect it, so I wouldn't count on that. Please see a doctor. Good luck - PJH

I would recommend talking to your doctor immediately.  There are lots of organizations out there that can help out if you need referrals or recommendations.  I was diagnosed in December 2010...go get checked out as soon as possible.
