Hi Kelly,   I'm so glad that you're going to see your doctor.  Most breast lumps are harmless, but all breast lumps need to be evaluated by a medical professional.  I am living proof that early detection saves lives.  I found a lump 4 months ago, and it turned out to be breast cancer.  Fortunately, I caught it very early, and now I am cancer-free.   I actually had an issue with a doctor telling me that it was nothing and that I should wait six months and have a recheck.  I think he told me that because of the fact that I'm under 40 and don't have a family history of breast cancer.  I am VERY glad that I followed my gut instinct and got another opinion.  All this is to say that ultimately, YOU are responsible for making your healthcare decisions.  If your doctor doesn't take you seriously, get a second opinion!   I hope that everything works out for you, and I'm wishing you continued good health! Brightest blessings,   LanieBird
