Hi Betty - Lumpy breasts at your age are VERY common! Please don't be scared. The chances of you having cancer are probably less than you winning the $100 million lottery! Mammograms don't have to be painful; mine never are. They have new types of machines now with nice, soft pads to cushion your breasts... hope the place you go has them. Also, be sure not to go during your period, or right before, when your breasts are tender. Try going about a week after. If they've got you scheduled for a time when your breasts are likely to be sore, please ask them to change the appointment, and tell them why. And, take a couple of ibuprofen an hour or so before you go. Trust me - you'll be OK! Really. Now enjoy your weekend! - PJH

I'm 15 and have the same problem. I mean my breast always feel super hard, hurt, and it feels like i have two huge rocks in my breasts. I know that my aunt had breast cancer, so i'm scared as well. But i really don't know anything about breast cancer, just that it's super unlikely for girls our age to have it. Any advice?
