Terry, no lymph node involvement would indicate that your BC hasn't spread - it has to spread via the lymph nodes. Also, breast cancer doesn't spread to the ovaries - ovarian cancer would be a new cancer. That said, there IS a connection between the two if you have a genetic predisposition for breast cancer - i.e., if you have mutations in the BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes - then you would be more likely to get ovarian cancer. Bottom line, you need to figure out what's causing the ovary pain, and deal with it; I hope you have a followup scheduled. Good luck - PJH
