Q: i have breast cancer stage 4 ive been through kemo and surgery and radiation.i think a tumor has burst, what happens if this happens?

Hi Londa - Fortunately, tumors grow, but they don't burst. If you feel heat, redness, or swelling, it's possible you have an infection. At any rate, this is definitely something you should call your oncologist about ASAP. I'm sure you're in close touch with him/her, since you're probably still undergoing treatment. Any change in your health would be a possible side effect, and should be reported to your doctor, OK? I wish you all the best as you continue down the treatment path... PJH
