Jean, the vast majority of women with breast cancer recover and live long lives. Statistically, you're probably in a good place. Until you get the full pathology on your cancer, you won't know exactly where you stand. But take it one step at a time. Remember, worrying and being upset doesn't accomplish one single thing, except to make you feel bad. It doesn't change anything; it doesn't help anything. Decide to compartmentalize your fears, and be positive. Chances are you'll go through treatment and be done with it. That's the "positive' for you to hold onto till tomorrow at 4:30, OK?
