I have had some itching on my breasts, on occasion, and there were a couple of pimple like spots that no longer have a white head on them but are just flat.  I've read symptoms about the rare cancer IBC.  I had a mammogram and exam done by obgyn and they didn't say anything about my breasts "looking funny."  Any suggestions?

Hi - Itching on both breasts is almost certainly not a sign of IBC, which would tend to occur in just one breast, not both. When you were examined by the doctor, did you mention your fears of IBC? Did you show him/her the spots? If not, please call, reference your appointment, the fact you had a clear mammogram, and ask the doctor's advice about whether you should come back in; or whether he/she knows what the spots might be, or feels they're serious. At any rate, if your breast (ONE breast) shows more signs of change - redness, swelling, heat, pain, seeming infected - please go back and see the doctor. Good luck - PJH
