Hi BB: "Appears to be malignant" is making a big jump; nothing is for sure till they do that biopsy, so take it one step at a time, OK? You're following the right path, being diligent about checking out changes in your breast. As for your enlarged lymph node, it could be an infection; with just an 8mm (very tiny) questionable area in your breast, it's another big jump to think it might have spread already. And breast cancer is nearly always painless. So again, one step at a time. Good luck and I hope you get good results - PJH
