Candi, I understand how scary this can be.  Trust your instincts.  After faithfully performing monthly self exams and annual mammograms, I found a small lump.  I had two mammograms, two ultrasounds, and was told by three MD's it was nothing.  I insisted the lump was NOT there before.  I had a surgical biopsy and... it is cancer, IDC.  I then had a PET scan which came back negative - exept for the one breast -  and a MRI which showed additional cancer in the affected breast.  I opted for a bilateral mastectomy and will have it this week.  I am hoping for the best but... TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. No one knows your body better than you.  I will pray for you tonight.
