Q: Nipple discharge when squeezing

What a great site! I am having a tan color discharge from my right nipple when pressed and a clearish/milky discharge from the left nipple when pressed. I have reecently gone off of birth control pills and I am taking pre-natal vitamins. I have fibrocystic breasts so it is harder to tell if there is a lump b/c they are so lumpy. Does anyone have any input for this?

Hi Ladybug - This doesn't sound like a breast cancer symptom, especially considering the hormonal changes you're probably going through right now, and the fact it's in both breasts. Please read our post on nipple discharge for information about whether/when you should see a doctor about this. And please stop squeezing your nipples, OK? It irritates them, and could cause an infection. Good luck - PJH
