Nay, the breast swelling sounds like a hormonal issue; breasts often swell and become painful just prior to your period. We're not doctors here, just breast cancr survivors; so we're not able to help with issues not related to breast cancer. Unless you have one breast that's swollen, and just continues to worsen (i.e., the swelling doesn't come and go, but remains constant), I wouldn't worry about this being breast cancer. If the swelling does get worse, though, and doesn't go away, you'd better see a doctor; you might have an infection you'd want to get treated. Best of luck - PJH
