It sounds like your wife is getting good treatment for what is, unfortunately, a fairly aggressive, somewhat advanced, and hard to treat cancer. If you don't trust her oncologist (and I don't inow why you wouldn't; the treatment plan sounds correct to me - though I'm not a doctor), then perhaps you need to ask another oncologist for a second opinion, for your own peace of mind.
