Q: My wife may have breast cancer. She's getting a biopsy to confirm what the dr believes is cancer.

My wife may have breast cancer is about to have a biopsy to confirm what her Dr's initial dignosis. We in live in the Chicxago area and are trying to find the 2 or 3 best hospitals to consider for treatment if it turns out that she does in fact have breats cancer. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi Miles: Hopefully your wife's biopsy will be negative - about 85% of biopsies are, in fact, negative. But if not: Here are the two Comprehensive Cancer Centers in Chicago. There are 39 CCCs in the country, and this designation (given by the government) is generally accepted as a mark of excellence. Good luck to both of you-
