Q: What kind of chemotheraphy will I receive?

62 year old, post-menopausal, Invasive ductal cancer, Bloom-Richardson Grade = Total Score: 5/9 = Grade 1. Staging: T1c pN1a, MX. 1 Sentinal node positive, 7 Axillary nodes removed and all negative, ER+ 95%, PR+ 60%, HER2/NEU results 1.1. Surgeon says chemo for 6 weeks, then radiation. Concern is what kind of chemo therapy treatment will I receive?

Hi - The choice of chemo will be based on what your oncologist believes will do you the most good. We're not oncologists here, and wouldn't hazard a guess as to which drug "cocktail" that might be. While you're waiting to find out, you might find our Guide to Understanding Your Pathology Report interesting. Also, please read our series on chemotherapy; I think you'll find that helpful, as well.
