Eleonore Hart

Will adjuvant chemotherapy followed by 5 weeks radiotherapy be a cure or will the cancer still appear elsewhwere.  If the latter, when and where?

Eleonore, the 5-year survival rate for women with your diagnosis (unless there are other factors you haven't mentioned) is 98%. Not a cure, but pretty darned close. If breast cancer metastasizes, it generally goes to lungs, bone, brain, or liver. Sounds to me like you're doing everything possible to prevent a recurrence. Have faith, go forward, and enjoy your life. PJH
