Geri, since you say "breasts," I assume this is in both breasts - which would point to a hormonal issue. Breast pain can come from a number of sources; is there a possiblity you're pregnant? If not, it may just be part of your cycle.
Going forward, try to notice if the pain changes throughout the month. Is it worse just before your period, and better afterwards? If it's fairly constant, and lasts longer than several weeks, then you'd want to get it checked by a doctor, simply to see if you can get some relief. But pain in both breasts isn't a typical breast cancer symptom, so please don't stress about that. Take care - PJH
