Just Diagnosed with Cancer? Chat with Experts

Sunday, April 10, 2011 Sara asks

Q: I'm experiencing a weird feeling periodically like sweating scalp and some kind of coldness wanting to be released in my extremities. Could it be from all the many oral medications I've been taking?

I've been treating for 5 months now for PTB, diabetes type 2 and hypertension. What should I be concerned about with this weird feeling I've been having? I wanted to know what's causing it.

Sara, oral medications can cause all kinds of side effects.  Check with the doctor who prescribed the medicine to get your questions answered.  We are a breast cancer site and wouldn't know how to answer your question.  Someone at HealthCentral's diabetes or hypertension sites might be able to help you.
