Q: I have a lump in my breast, it has been there for months the lump is getting bigger and sore. what can i do? where can i go? i have no insurance or a job.
Hi Candy - You can't ignore a lump in your breast that's getting larger. Chances are good this is a cyst; but you do have to be examined to rule out breast cancer. Go to your local hospital, and ask to speak with a social worker. Explain your situation. There are government programs that wil assist women in your situation. You need a mammogram, and you can get a free one if you work with the system.
