This is with regard to my yesterdays question to which you have replied. I would further like to mention that i am 24 yrs old and as you said that the feeling of uneasiness could be due to stress. So i would just wish to confirm that would it be ok to go for Mamography at this age to clear the doubt. Further i would like to know that just thru physicall examination by a well known doctor can i be assured that i am not suffering thru Breast Cancer.

Please help and advice as thinking thru out the day is taking a toll on my health.

Sam, the chances of you having breast cancer are extremely slim, at your age; practically non-existent. I think, if a mammogram would make you feel better, you should ask for one. However, then what? Will you still be harboring this dread, thinking the mammogram missed something? I think perhaps you should get some help to address your fears, along with being checked out physically. Can you trust your doctor? Well, that's up to you - can you? Do you?  Bottom line is, you haven't reported any breast cancer symptoms; you're 24 years old; statistics say you don't have breast cancer. But you do have a lot of stress. Please ask your doctor to refer you to someone who can help you get past the stress, OK? Good luck - PJH
