Q: I have a rash under my left breast !!!

I have a rash under my left breast and havent changed soaps or anything recently what is it and what do i do ?

Hi Starr: Could be a diaper rash/heat rash, irritated type of thing. Or... who knows, at this point? Best thing to do is keep an eye on it. If it worsens (spreads, or intensifies - becomes hot, itches more, becomes painful, makes your breast swell), then call the doctor. Ditto if it doesn't disappear after a couple of weeks. In the meantime, keep it dry and try some cortisone cream. Inflammatory breast cancer is always a possibility, but it's much more likely it's something else. Good luck - PJH
