My hair is growing back after chemo - about an inch now - I have severe "dandruff" - huge flakes - never had dandruff before - is this normal and will it stop???

I have used organic shampoo and conditioner on my scalp from the get go - and lately have added baby oil to my scalp.  Any suggestions>

Lolo, could be a latent side effect - an after effect - of the chemo. Since chemo destroys your hair follicle cells, maybe it destroyed some of the skin around them, too. I'll bet it's a simple matter of time before it disappears on its own. But ask the doctor, next time you go in for your checkup—maybe (s)he can recommend something effective to treat it in the interim. Good luck - PJH
