Q: was in a car accident, right breast took brunt of the accident, now there is a lump in the front of my breast,could this be from the accident? breast was completely black and blue

accident was two months ago and the lump came out about 3 weeks after accident. its about the size of a peanut m & m, and has not gotten bigger or smaller and does not hurt now. the breast was hit by the airbag, and confined by the seat belt.

This lump could very well be scar tissue, Laurie. However, it could be coincidental that appeared at around the same time as the accident, and could be an unexplained breast lump. Since you've had it longer than a month it qualifies as a breast change, and you should have it examined by a doctor, OK? Best of luck - PJH
