Hi Cheryl - I'm glad you're going to get this checked out. An inverted nipple can indeed be a symptom of breast cancer. it can also be a symptom of other things; or it could just be your body doing its own thing. Yes, it could be a symptom, so it is so good you are getting it checked out. You'll get your answers. I was diagnosed 18 months ago with breast cancer, also have 2 small kids, they were 9 months and 3 years at the time. If you do have to deal with this, there are resources I would be happy to share with you. Best of luck.
