My first though was if you are on blood thinners?  But if you are post chemo, pronbably not them.  If you are, then I would just be concerned if the blood is not clotting or staying clotted.   Otherwise like PJ said keep the cut clean at all times, use some antibacterial ointment (bacitracin or neosporin) change bandaids daily, then after a few days remove and let breathe a bit - keep it uncovered unless the wound is still open.   Also if You are really concerned, you can always call and get your most recent blood test results (I know mine was tested on each visit to chek WBC) and that shoudl tell you of they were low and you might possibly need antibiotics. But I'm sure it will heal up soon just fine. Best of luck to you! Angi
