Q: I am (almost) 4 years survivor of breast cancer, and 3rd year of Arimidex.My hair is still thin on the top and front.. due to chemo ? or Arimidex?Can I try Rogain???
Many women report thinning hair from Arimidex; and certainly having chemo didn't help the situation to begin with. Ask your doctor if you can use Rogaine while on Arimidex, just as you'd ask about any medication. I'm guessing it won't do a whole lot; other women who've tried it report only limited success, at best. But it might be worth a try, so long as your oncologist can rule out any negative interactions with the Arimidex. Good luck to you - PJH
