Usually a high white blood cell count means your body is fighting an infection, and has increased its production of white blood cells. A high platelet count may also be a reaction to an infection. If you're talking about this in relation to breast cancer, these are questions you should ask your oncologist, OK? S/he will be able to relate these test results to your diagnosis and treatment.
