Kirsty-Leigh, I have some good advice for you: see your doctor. These boils aren't a sign of breast cancer, HIV, or anything else. But they're painful, unsightly, and really annoying when you have to deal with them.

Please read this thread about boils; you'll find that you're not alone in this situation. You'll also see that there's no silver bullet; nothing that's guaranteed to cure them. However, your doctor can give you some advice about prevention and treatment - and it would be really useful to hear this advice, so take a deep breath, and make the call. Being "too scared" to see your doctor isn't a good excuse for ignoring this and continuing to suffer. Good luck - PJH

If the first boil showed up after your diet changed, there could be a connection.  A poor diet wouldn't cause boils, but you might not be getting enough nutrients to help your immune system control the germ that cause them.  Boils are not related to cancer, but you do need to see the doctor to make sure there isn't an underlying infection that needs an antibiotic or other medication.
