I am experiencing extreme itching in both my nipples...only the nipple area. They are starting to look a little crusty too. I am 51 years old, and have not gone through menopause yet. Do I have reason to be concerned?

Shelley, nipples are very sensitive, and react to seemingly small changes - a new shower gel, new laundry detergent, a bra that chafes... Please read our post on nipple issues; I think it'll help you decide whether or not to worry. Good luck - hope they stop itching soon! PJH
