i'm 26 years old and have a weird stinging pain at the vertex of my breast and arm-pit, It very faint but sore and when I press it, it kind of stings. Could this be a sign of breast cancer? I had shingle about 6 inches above the sore spot but it was five years ago.

Hi - This is probably not a breast cancer symptom; pain isn't usually a sign of breast cancer. And at your age, your risk of breast cancer is very small. If you feel a lump, or the pain worsens considerably, or your breast seems infected (hot, red, swollen, itchy), then definitely see a doctor. In the meantime, please read our post on breast pain; it'll give you some guidance as to whether/when to see a doctor about your current symptoms. Good luck - PJH
