Q: i have a dry itchy patch on my left breast, had this before on my right breast.what could it be?

i have a very uncomfortable itchy patch on my left breast. i had this problem on my right breast about a year ago. it eventualy went away on its own. now its on the left breast. should i be concerned?

Linda, since you had this problem on your other breast and it disappeared, I'd be inclined to tell you it's some kind of skin issue, and just wait for it to go away (or see a dermatologist about it). But keep your eye on it; if it worsens in any way (becomes more extensive, or if your breast seems infected – red, hot, painful, swollen – then best to see your doctor, OK? Good luck - PJH
