My right nipple has a stinging sensation it feels like when a baby latches on. I am not pregnant . It has been hurting for about 3 weeks.The nipple feels like it is being pulled from the inside out. Sometimes it feels a little warmer. No color change that I have noticed.I have 36 D bra size. Is this something I need to worry about?

Hi Gina: This doesn't sound like a typical breast cancer symptom. But, since it's been going on for 3 weeks, it probably isn't anything to do with your menstrual cycle or hormones, either. It's probably something you should have checked out with your doctor; all breast changes that last this long should be looked at, so best to make an appointment, OK? Good luck - PJH
