Q: is shrinking of breast from upper part could be a symptom of cancer

Hi Poorvi: I'm not quite sure if I'm understanding what you're describing. But if you mean your breast is getting an indent, yes, that's something you should check out. Especially if it's in the area of your nipple. It's a good idea to have the doctor check any kind of breast change such as you describe; congratulations for being vigilant. Good luck - PJH

If the shrinking is in the upper part near the axilla (armpit) then there is a need to think of Cancer. However, it is advised to get an examination done by a doctor every year for breast cancer.
