Everyone responds to chemo differently.  I spent the night throwing up on my first and third treatments.  I was a little queasy but OK for the other six.  Some tips that helped me were taking the anti-nausea meds the doctor gave me right away before I felt ill.  I also learned to stay away from food smells and go straight home from chemo and stay out of moving cars for the first day or two.  There are many new anti-nausea medications, so be sure to let your oncologist know how sick you got this time.  There is a good chance that switching to a different anti-nausea med may solve the problem for you.  You will probably have the fatigue from chemo each time and that may get worse as the treatments go on.  Getting plenty of rest, drinking fluids, and eating healthy foods can help, but chemo is not easy.  As a ten-year survivor, I can assure you that sticking it out is worth it.
