Just Diagnosed with Cancer? Chat with Experts

Monday, December 07, 2009 Concerned asks

Q: I am experiencing bleeding. Should I continue with the Arimidex?

I have Zoladex shots as I was not postmenopausal when my cancer occurred.  Now I'm experiencing bleeding.  I have had 3 shots and this is the first month I have had problems.  Does this indicate that I still have estrogen in my system, and should I continue with the Arimidex?

Please ask your oncologist about this; we're not medically trained, and can't give you  this type of specific advice. Good luck - PJH
