No, a dark color in a sonogram (actually, it means the area is clear) would signal a cyst. A light-colored area (opaque) would signal solid tissue - either breast tissue, or a tumor of some kind, cancerous or benign. Please ask your doctor for further clarification about your particular sonogram results, OK? PJH
