I have a very itchy and lumpy underarm, just on one side, it also feels slightly swollen. I am menopausal and 52 years old. I had a mamogram 12 months ago and it was clear. Should I be worrying about this?

Hi Rosie — At age 52, youshould be getting a mammogram every year. Since your last one was a year ago, I hope you have one scheduled soon. I don't know if "worry" is the right word, but you should be concerned anytime new lumps develop in your breasts or under your arms. Best to make sure you have a mammogram soon, plus I'd call the doctor as well—hopefully (s)he can identify what's going on, and give you something for that itchiness! Best of luck - PJH
