Hi - I'd say it's best to do whatever your oncologist recommends. Women with large tumors often have chemo first, to reduce the size of the tumor prior to surgery, and to treat any errant cells that might have spread elsewhere in the body. But the majority of the time, it's surgery first, followed by chemo and sometimes radiation, depeding on the type of surgery. Unless you don't trust your medical oncologist, who'll be directing your treatment (and if you don't - find a new one ASAP), then you should take his/her recommendation as to your course of treatment.
