Lia, first of all, discount every chemo "horror story" you've ever heard. MOST are outdated; doctors and researchers are making HUGE strides all the time in treating chemo side effects. Second, whatever side effects you end up with, speak up! Tell someone who can do something about it; they want to make you as comfortable as possible, but they won't know you need help unless you ask for it.
