Hi Stacey - This may be hormonal - are you about to get your period? Could you be pregnant? If there are any external symptoms such as swelling, redness, itching, and soreness of the skin, it could be an infection, or it could be a very rare form of breast cancer. But without those external symptoms, internal pain usually wouldn't be a breast cancer symptom. If the pain doesn't abate soon, especially if it's not in synch with your menstrual cycle, best to get it checked to find out what it is and get it taken care of, OK? Good luck - PJH
