Q: i have a very itchy nipple and a lump has started to grow on around the nipple

My nipple all of a sudden started to itch quite badly which occurs on a daily basis and then i noticed a lump growing around my nipple which has got slightly bigger.

Hi - The itchiness probably isn't a breast cancer symptom; please read our post on nipple issues for more information about what it might be. However, any time you notice a new lump - breast, or nipple, or armpit - you should get it checked. Give it a couple of weeks to see if it disappears; if not, then best to call a doctor, OK?
