Purple blemish that burst.

I had a purple blemish under my breast, it was large but not quite as big as a dime. It hung around for about a month or so, no pain or anything. Yesterday it burst and I now have a small hole that is about a cm. deep. Should I be concerned? I've been filling the hole with neosporin and covering it with a bandaid.

This sounds like a skin issue, not a breast cancer issue.  Could it be a blister from friction on the underside of your breast?  If it seems to be healing with your Neosporin treatment, you might not need to see a doctor.  However, please call a doctor if it doesn't heal rapidly or if you have another similar spot.  That could be a sign of an underlying problem.

Thank you very much for responding I actually talked to a friend who had a similar issue pop up in her bikini area. Turned out to be an ingrown hair that just behaved in an odd manner. Again I appreciate the response and am thankful that you all are here to answer questions!
