Purple blemish that burst.

I had a purple blemish under my breast, it was large but not quite as big as a dime. It hung around for about a month or so, no pain or anything. Yesterday it burst and I now have a small hole that is about a cm. deep. Should I be concerned? I've been filling the hole with neosporin and covering it…
