My daughter went to the doctor for leakage. And they said that it was normal. But she is still worried because it says in the descriptions for cancer that . Leakage is a sympton.

Hi - Please have your daughter read this good article from the Mayo Clinic on nipple discharge. And understand that only very, VERY rarely is nipple discharge a sign of a very rare form of breast cancer. It's nearly always due to another cause, and is actually quite normal for many women. Hope this helps - good luck. PJH
PJ is correct and the article is very good. While nipple discharge should be looked at, clear or milky discharge is usually not a sign of cancer at all. rather, normal for our ever changing hormonal situation. Bloody discharge is the greater concern.
Staying on top of breast health at a young age is a wonderful thing! Good for her for being her own health advocate. if she cannot stop worrying about it, a ductogram can be done to give her a for sure answer that it is not cancer.
