Cheryl, weight gain isn't a breast cancer symptom, so don't be afraid of that (although it's probably not good for your health...)

Since the lump in your armpit has been there 4 weeks, it qualifies as a breast change, and you should have it checked out. The lumps in your neck may or may not be connected; you might have an infection that's showing up in your lymph nodes, both neck, and underarm. But even though it's highly unlikely, you do have to make sure the armpit lump isn't cancer. And the only way to do that is to see a doctor and have it diagnosed.

Please don't let fear stop you from taking positive action. What's the worst that could  happen if you go to the doctor? You might find out you have early breast cancer, which would be treated, and you'd go on your way. What if you don't go to the doctor? You could have cancer that grows. Or an infection that gets worse. Action trumps worry, any day. So please take a deep breath, pick up the phone, and call, OK? As I said, it's very unlikely this lump is anything serious; but you need to be responsible about your health and find out what it is. Good luck - PJH
