Q: Itching from inside of breast

If the breast itching is coming from the "inside" of the breast, not the outside, what does that mean?

Could be a nerve issue of some kind, or an allergy. Keep track of it - if it lasts longer than a couple of weeks; or if it turns into something more noticeable (e.g., your breast seems infected: red, hot, swollen, painful), then best to see a doctor without delay, OK? It could be a symptom of a rare form of breast cancer, inflammatory breast cancer, and you'd want to rule that out. Best of luck - PJH

Oddly enough, I had itching like that with my tumor. I doubt it is a common symptom of breast cancer, and I am sure there are more likely causes, but it seems to me it would be a good reason to schedule a visit with your doctor.
