Q: I have been on Femara for 5 years and just gone off. I am starting to feel worse instead of better. Severe headaches all the time in addition to regular aches. Any information on Femara withdrawal

Sue, have you talked to your oncologist about this? Better yet, have you talked to his/her nurse? While this isn't a normal side effect of aromatase inhibitors, it's unfortunately one of YOUR side effects. Your onco and nurse have seen a lot of patients on Femara, and many of those must have finished up their course and gone off it; they'd be the best ones to help you with this, OK? I hope your pain abates soon - PJH
